For nearly 20 years, the driving force behind OSTRALE has been to make contemporary art
accessible to as many people as possible and to open up diverse perspectives. We aim to
stimulate critical thinking through engagement with contemporary art, enable new viewpoints,
strengthen the capacity to reflect on societal issues, and foster empathy—all to make the
world a little better.
Due to a critical funding situation and the shrinking budget of the state capital, Dresden, we
urgently rely on your support to take the next active steps in preparing for the O27 Biennale.
Rising costs, reduced funding allocations, and delayed commitments are putting pressure on
our work and essential processes.
We make this appeal during turbulent times: we need your financial help!
Every euro helps secure our existence and maintain a stable organizational foundation.

- You will receive a donation receipt for every donation (please include your full
name, address, and email address with your transfer, or send your details to buchhaltung@ostrale.de) - For donations of €100 to €499, you will also receive two complimentary tickets valid for all Biennale O27 venues.
- For donations of €500 to €999, you will also receive four complimentary tickets valid for all Biennale O27 venues, plus an exhibition catalogue.
- For donations of €1,000 to €1,999, you will also receive two complimentary tickets valid for the entire duration of the Biennale O27, plus an exhibition catalogue.
- For donations of €2,000 or more, you will also receive four complimentary tickets valid for the entire duration of the Biennale O27, an exclusive guided tour with our curators, an exhibition catalogue, and a small token of appreciation.
